HOW TO PLAY FLOG

Get ready to test your skills, strategy, and a little bit of luck with FLOG!

Place six stacks of the club cards face down on the table. There are 20 cards in each club stack. These are the players golf bags. Driver, 3 iron, 5 iron, 7 iron, Wedge and Putter.

Scan the QR code on the score pad to activate the hazard wheel and keep it at the ready! The first player to hit off selects a club card that they think will Get them nearest to the hole.

The minimum and maximum distances that each club can travel are displayed on the front of each club card allowing the player to select a club that is suitable for that shot. The player

then turns the card to reveal the stroke distance, this is recorded in the stroke box and is deducted from the hole distance that is being played (distances for each hole are displayed

at the top of the score card) to get the remaining distance to the hole and is recorded in the Balance box. The chosen club card is then put back at the bottom of the respective club card stack.

Each player repeats these steps as you play the game in turn. Just like the real game.

Once a player has finished the hole it is recorded in the total strokes box along with any penalty strokes incurred from the hazard wheel. And the game continues with the remaining players

until the hole is finished. If the player reveals a hazard card they must enter the distance displayed on the card into the stroke box and then must spin the hazard wheel.

There are multiple hazards on the wheel including sand trap, water trap, and out of bounds. There are also reprieves like no penalty and rage.

Once a player spins the hazard wheel the penalty stroke is recorded in the Hazard stroke box at the bottom of the score card. If a player spins a NO PENALTY on the wheel there are no

hazard strokes recorded and the game continues. If the player spins a RAGE result the player can pass the wheel to another player of their choice and they must spin the wheel.

There are also RAGE cards in the club cards. If the player reveals a RAGE card they must record the distance shown on the card and then pass the RAGE card to the player of their choice

and they must spin the Hazard Wheel. Once the player is within 9 metres/yards from the hole distance they are on the Green. The Putter cards shot distances range from 1 to 9 metres/yards.

If the player reveals a SUNK card The player has sunk the putt and no strokes are recorded. (Sunk cards are only revealed in putter cards.) There are a total of TEN strokes allowed in a hole.

Once a player has recorded 10 strokes that is the their total strokes played for the hole and is recorded in the total stroke box along with any hazard penalty strokes recorded.

The winner of each hole has the honours to Tee off first on the next hole. The winner of the game is the player with the least amount of strokes at the end of 9 holes played.
